I'm partial to Budda's Vegetarian at Midland and Finch, and Pulp Kitchen (vegan/organic) at Queen and Logan.

I dont know about Toronto, but in Montreal it is definily Chu Chai. I have never eaten tofu that has the taste and texture of real meat like at Chu Chai. YUMMY.

Simon's Wok at Gerrard and Logan is a Chinese vegetarian restaurant that has a good reputation, though I have never been there.
