A proposed two 6-storey buildings are located in Milton. Located on 460/470 Gordan Krantz Ave! A total of proposed units for Building C - 128 units and Building D - 122 units. Finally, total parking count of 314 parking spaces.

This is possibly the closest I've seen to US style 5-over-1's in Canada. It isn't the first that Mattamy has done like this, either.

I wonder if they will become more common soon, especially if Ontario makes changes to the building code as is recommended in the housing report which recently went to the MMAH to make them easier to build.

simple wood construction apartments, typically with 1 level of concrete construction at grade for retail and 5 levels of wood construction apartments above. Often the units wrap an internal above grade parking garage structure.

There has been a huge boom of construction of these types of buildings in basically every major US city in the last 5-10 years. They are literally everywhere.

Snapped a quick pick while driving through the area (as a passenger!). Lots of progress since March.

I didn’t get a good look, but it seems like there are only two cranes now. Anyone local can confirm?
