Sandman Signature Hotel Markham: a currently under construction 6-storey hotel, restaurant and banquet centre designed by Pacific Coast Architecture Inc for Northland Properties Corporation Ltd on the west side of Cochrane Drive, in the northeast quadrant of Highway 404 and Highway 407, south of Highway 7 in Markham's Buttonville area.

This one has moved extremely, extremely slowly. I believe it's been under construction for about 3 years now.

edit: yup - started construction in summer of 2019.

Must be the same work crew from Elevate at Logan.

That's a pace (excluding any underground floors) that averages one level per 7 months.

I don't believe this has underground parking, it's basically a dead-standard roadside hotel. These kinds hotels under normal circumstances can go up in under a year.
