LJM Developments has proposed a two 20 and 23 storeys condos called Harbourfront Condominiums on 706 Prudhomme Blvd in Lincoln Ontario with 425 units and unknown parking spaces.

Lincoln council has denied the 25 and 28 storeys condo with 774 units. The major sticking points for councillors were the height, above the 18 storeys allowed in the secondary plan, and the size of individual units.

Councillors also had continued concerns about parking and servicing. And together, those issues proved enough for them to go against the staff recommendation to approve the amendment with several holding provisions.

I think this is located right off the QEW Side road . This is a high huge development for this area lol!

It's amazing how much housing is being proposed on QEW service roads these days.

The tiered lighting on the podium and its overall appearance suggests above-ground parking to me, which doesn't thrill me.

The architecture, otherwise, is unremarkable, but not overly offensive......

I do hope the plans call for publicly accessible lakefront parkland.

It's amazing how much housing is being proposed on QEW service roads these days.

There was another 40+ storey proposal in Stoney Creek this week too.

This one is hilarious to me since it's a quite high density apartment development in the middle of nowhere, quite literally.

If they put all that ugly above-ground parking below grade, they would be well under the preferred height limit...
