Guelph has yet to get threads (other than the library+housing development), and since I spend a good portion of my time in Guelph I thought I'd document a few of the currently progressing developments around Downtown.
The developments around Guelph are much more modest in height compared to surrounding cities, but with all the historical architecture, I see it as a unique feature rather than a detriment.
This building lies just on the outskirts of downtown, and while small by the definitions of most cities in Ontario now, still makes its mark from many vantages. The renders get quite delusional about the forest around this thing, so here's the most 'realistic' render. (Laugh at the others here)
From a great vantage, the tower can be seen just behind the trees and Metalworks. Just to place into context that it is in fact near downtown.
Closer up, the steps down to the river are quite prominent and make for a unique look.
Some ducks came to say hello, not important to the photo, I thought they were cute.
