It's my understanding that they're planning to restore a lot of the original church structure to incorporate it with the new parts. They're not going to leave us with just that wall and stick a tower behind it.

That my dear would look super hideous...at least they will have some sort of setback between the tower and the church's restoration.

65 extra units in a 5 storey addition? That sounds a bit too many units/floor for a so-called luxury development. The original proposal has on average less than 10 units/floor.
