Some update photos from today. Looking at an early October opening for Bathurst Quay Common. Looking forward to seeing the ‘sun deck’ (nearly complete as seen here) with its moveable furniture in place, and the Corleck’s new windows and doors installed.

Taken 19 August. It looks like the scaffolding between the silos is coming down. And much work has been done on paving as can be seen.

So I did a bit of digging on the OCADU facility here but didn’t find anything new. But I did discover a group called BigArtToronto that is based at OCADU and will most likely be involved in the projections at Bathurst Quay.

Installation of new windows and doors is underway this week at the Corleck.
The interior view is from within the planned cafe space.
The before image is from two years ago prior to the start of brick cleaning and repair. A great restoration project by Canada Ireland Foundation (in partnership with the City of Toronto), Kearns Mancini Architects, Boszko & Verity, and Trinity Masonry.

Noticed today that the wall of the community centre can be used for projections as well as the east facing walls of the Corleck Building. Immersive displays!
