“The proposed development has been planned and designed to facilitate a compact, transit-supportive development that provides for a range and mixture of residential uses to meet the needs of residents,” says a report from planning consultants Glen Schnarr and Associates Inc. (GSAI), which is representing NYX Tannery’s application.
Local Coun. Brad Butt says he and the city are working to make NYX Tannery’s development “a little bit more modest,” but that the proposal is part of a large push to build more housing in Mississauga, including in the Streetsville community.
