I just noticed the rendering @interchange42 posted above is labelled as "looking north" in the article; I think it is looking south towards this project.

Anyways, there are very few proposed or under construction towers in Ontario outside Toronto that are to be taller than the tallest building here. I can think of only 2 in Mississauga, and 1 or 2 in Niagara Falls, that's it. This should be an interesting project to watch, nonetheless.

It’s very hard to believe that very much a half-century before these residential skyscrapers are completed, Wonder Mountain in Canada’s Wonderland was Vaughan’s tallest structure!

Pretty crazy that VMC station might get 74-storey towers while most of line 2 is still just 2-storey houses next to its stations.
