New rendering was taken from the architectural plan via the Rezoning application. The rendering is updated in the database. The storey count changed from 10 storey to 20 storey. Height changed from 37.45m to 65.45m. The total unit count changed from 153 units to 185 units & 392 beds. Finally, total parking changed from 2 parking to 4 parking.

They're knocking down half of 300 Sherbourne for the courtyard but other than that it's a pretty exciting proposal. Love the masonry tower

SPA resubmission with the following changes:
  • Storeys increased from 20 to 21
  • Height increased from 65.45 to 71.04m
  • Total student suites increased from 165 to 173
  • Total bicycle parking reduced from 223 to 194
Additionally, the project is now known as "Hoem Sherbourne"

Overall, I like the designs and proportions. Still, tan masonry is always hit or miss with me, as the buildings sometimes look institutional.

The mechanical penthouse also doesn't appear to have any masonry or even a complimentary colour, which is unfortunate. Utilitarian mechanical penthouses tend to mar otherwise good designs.
