Noticed this building was being emptied out over the past year, there is now an application in with the city, the application is by Skyline (SkyDev) which implies this will be a rental project like the redevelopment of their offices. They also recently completed an affordable rental building in the city.

This site was previously gonna see a 4 storey addition. There are currently no renders posted, I already did bug the city for them, but documents be available in the next couple weeks.

The indoor/outdoor brick room is kind of cozy. would LOVE if the new building was covered in this style of brick.

Some perspectives and design now available, somewhat awkward but serviceable (based on the mediocre the arch frim attached.) The ground facade matches the scale, but will need good detailing to feel right.

No parking here, and this is a student building.

I inquired with the city about the status of this development, as it is one of few tall buildings planned for downtown. The development is currently on hold at the request of the developer, I bet to revise the plan in line with some great good faith feedback from the Nextdoor co-working space.
