Chinese clients tend to be more open to bold and innovative architectural designs. They don't mind building a futuristic skyscraper that has never been seen before elsewhere to get people's attention. At the same time, there is a push for environmentalism as cities choke in air pollution. It's quite ironic that many Western architectural firms are now submitting these designs to their Chinese clients.
