Riverdale Heritage Conservation District

The proposed HCD is nowhere near Withrow Park, so Clewes is still good to go to his enhancement of Riverdale and give the area the beacon it so desperately needs.

Even with the expansion of the HCD, locals and planners would see such a project only enhances the heritage of the area with the contextual contrasts of tall and short, Victorian, Edwardian and Modern. After all, this is only a city designated site, not a federally designated site.

If St. Matthews ever goes under they'll have the perfect disused historical building on which to build a 60 storey skyscraper on top of.

Your plan may not quite workout as per your rendering ganjavih, but Riverdale will still get to be saved by Clewes.

Riverdale needs only to be saved from displaced Distillery District NIMBYs ;) turning up at public meetings and proposing such things. They can probably be identified by the cloud of funny-smelling cigarette smoke that surrounds them everywhere they go.

What about Clewes' The Riverdale(TM)?

It's clear that this is the only way to save Riverdale from Riverdale NIMBY's. Without these structures, Riverdale will continue to slide into complete and utter irrelevance.
