Babel's baritone friend, Gianmarco Segato, is giving a recital:
Time: Saturday March 10th at 7:30 p.m.
Place: Leaside United Church. 822 Millwood Road.
An evening of music and good company - songs and arias by Schubert, Donizetti, Hahn, Quilter, Mercadante and Tosti. The theme is music inspired by the past - composers using musical forms and texts from eras previous to their own. Much of the music harkens back to an ideal, classical past when all was sunny and wine-soaked. A welcome antidote to winter!
