Please don't delete post contents when switching from Quick Reply to Reply to Thread

I just lost two posts because I filled out a quick reply and then hit Reply to Thread instead of Post Quick Reply to submit. Hitting the back button doesn't help, at least not on Firefox.

Could + Reply to Thread reuse the contents of any already filled out Quick Reply box?

Alternatively, could the interface be reworked so that the button I should click is closer than the button I really, really shouldn't click?

I've had this happen to me as well. It's certainly annoying since when you hit "back" your text is gone. If there was anyway for the text to remain it'd be really helpful I think.

No doubt we have all experienced this since the make-over - it would be good to change it as you suggest.

Aaargh! I just had to rewrite a reply three times because I kept clicking on Reply to Thread.
