Hello Toronto enthusiast!
My name is Brendan Brady, I am the New Media Producer for David Brady Productions. We are currently working on a three hour documentary for BRAVO! entitled "Yonge Street." This show will revolve around the Toronto music scene on yonge st. starting in the late '50s' and spanning all the way to 1970.
We are creating an interactive online archive where people will be able to find out amazing never before told stories from and about pretty much every artists from that generation who came off of Yonge St. (ie. Jackie Shane, Robbie Robertson, Ronnie Hawkins, little Caesars and the consults just to name a few!)
We are desperately looking for photos of:
Brown Derby
Colonial tavern
Edison hotel
Zanzibar
Brass rail
Club 888/Rockpile
Bluenote
Le Coq d’or
Friars Tavern
The Town Tavern
Chum Building
