Parking space issues

This reminds me of the tv show frasier. :) I'd suggest open warfare with your neighbour, turn off his water, file anonymous complaints, scratch his car, park your car across both his and your spaces, cover his windows, start malicious rumors and crash his parties.:D:D

But in all seriousness, I'd assume that there is building regulations regarding parking spaces, and you spot should meet those requirements. And this might be the wrong forum

You shouldn't need to talk to your neighbour unless he's crossing the line into your parking spot. Your territory should be accessible without having to cut into other spots, and if you can't do that, the parking spot sucks and may not be to code.

it does seem a little Frasier esque.....but I if I can't talk to our neighbour, what else can I do, it seems they feel the same, as when we park there first, they rarely do, choosing to occupy a visitor spot instead, which seems a bit pointless....Mods, if this would better of in another thread feel free to move.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As hard as it might be to swallow, just keep parking there as if there's nothing amiss. At some point your neighbour will either tire of parking in Visitors' spots, or get over his poor parking (which sounds more intentional than anything else).

Or maybe it's his first car? Take its virginity; give him a dent or a scratch somewhere discrete (and in a location that couldn't be assumed to have come from your car).

I agree; it's your space so use it and let this person figure out how to park properly.
