Making the board less Vbulletin.

Is there any way to make the board look less like a Vbulletin board? I miss the UT picture of the day at the top of the old board and the fact that this board looks like every other Vbulletin board does little to distinquish ourselves from others.

The colours can be changed for sure, and a rotating banner can be put in too.

But I don't think there's a way to make it not look like Vbulletin at all though.
