The Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (TWRC), is sponsoring an Innovative Design Competition to establish a common vision for the Lower Don River. The goals of the competition are to create an iconic identity for the Don River and to develop a bold and comprehensive concept design that integrates development, transportation infrastructure and the renaturalized river mouth in a harmonious whole. Four design teams representing a range of urban, landscape, architectural and ecological design philosophies have been selected to participate in this design competition.

The Public Exhibition runs from April 16-24, 2007 at BCE Place, Allan Lambert Galleria, 181 Bay Street

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely try and check this out.

As we're running around the whole city flinging pesticide into anything that could possibly hold stagnant water, doesn't it seem a touch odd that we're deliberately building a swamp right next to downtown?

Swamp sounds so negative...how about heritage marshland?

I dunno, this seems kinda swampy to me
