....what an absolute POS. My wife so much wanted to see this show, and even she begged to leave at intermission (we did). Tickets were free, so just time lost, but sweet jeez that was one boring POS.
The last time I was in the same town as Joan Collins was this spring, when she appeared in sleepy King's Lynn - rural Norfolk U.K., at the end of the train line from London. A few weeks later another venerable old trouper - Morrissey - was playing the same small venue.
'The Queen' is playing here in Fakenham's tiny cinema, but I haven't noticed anyone going in or out of the building. Helen Mirren has done another 'Prime Suspect' too - the final one I believe.
HM (Helen Mirren) was on Today this morning joking that if she were HM (the other one) she wouldn't be able to resist seeing her portrayal of her onscreen.
There was a docudrama on British TV a couple of days ago, about nazi nutbar Rudolph Hess and his war trial. Ben Cross, who portrayed him, looked and acted spookily like Michael Ignatieff.
Good actor but has has some unfortunate roles recently. If Mirren were frumpier she would look just like Her Majesty. That Legends sounds horrible- anything with Joan Collins and Linda Evans just has to be horrid.
