Im putting this in politics because much of this interview does deal with political issues, inparticular about media and its role in politics. This is one of the most interesting interviews I have heard in a long time. I would highly recommend listening to it if you have an hour and want to hear an interesting discussion on what media and television used to be and what it is now.

I would also recommend looking through the rest of the archives on the site. For those who dont know Bob McChesney, the host of the program, he is probably the leading academic in media studies and issues in the United States and his weekly radio program is probably one of the most interesting currently playing on any radio station, anywhere, right now.
