So I'm buying a new condo. Its a 3-bedroom unit downtown Toronto.
Its listed for 830,000. Obviously I'm not going to pay what its listed for.

I have 2 questions for you guys, please:

1. How much do you guys think I should offer for it??
2. And how much should I list the condo for that I currently own??
Its valued at $700,000. Should I ask $750K or is that too high??

You might as well ask "How long is a piece of string?" You may get your new condo for asking, or less or more. That depends on whether there are other buyers. You might get $700K for your current unit for same reasons.

If you are asking this kind of question you probably ought to take a deep breath and THINK a bit.

Offer what you are willing to pay; the seller may not agree (they might even get angry at you and refuse to negotiate at all with you in the future) but nothing is lost by submitting an offer.

More questions arise:
  1. How much are similar 3-bdrm units in that building selling for?
  2. Is that condo listed on MLS/Realtor.ca?
  3. Is there an offer date?
  4. Are you using a realtor to buy or are you going direct?
  5. How much are similar condos to the one you own currently selling for?
  6. Are you listing with a realtor?
  7. Do you plan on listing high and accepting lower offers?
  8. Do you plan on instilling an offer date?
