Home Renovation Thread

I apologize for this. Used the search function and didn't find what I was looking for.

I remember reading a thread by someone who was documenting their home renovation. They also had a blog page documenting the project. They had painted the exterior brick black, and basically did a really cool "cheap and cheerful" modernization.

If anyone remembers this thread or can point me to the website this person had I'd greatly appreciate it.
