Halton Region has published an Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan for the period to 2051. It covers water, wastewater, regional roads and transit infrastructure (not transit services, which are provided by GO Transit and the lower tier municipalities).

Transit infrastructure proposed includes eventual BRT on Trafalgar Rd & Hwy 25 (in Milton & Oakville), and on Derry Rd to Tremaine Rd. Initial implementation would be HOV lanes with traffic signal priority in the 2030s, with BRT in the 2040s.

There are a bunch of major road expansions already planned - to 2035 - and the 2051 plan has only a few road projects:

Halton Region has commenced property acquisitions "for the municipal purpose of facilitating the infrastructure improvements and widening of Regional Road #25 from Steeles Avenue (Regional Road #8) to 5 Side Road in the Town of Milton and the Town of Halton Hills".

I'm surprised this is needed with the new Tremaine Rd exit coming into service soon, you'd think that would reduce the traffic volume using the Hwy 25 exit.
