Lucky Denver! T.O.'s best are spreading a little love westward......note the prices :hat

The Denver Business Journal - 5:09 PM MST Thursday
55-story condo project coming to downtown
Great Gulf Group plans to build a 55-story, $165 million luxury condominium development at 14th and Lawrence streets in downtown Denver.

The Toronto-based real estate conglomerate recently acquired a 25,000-square-foot site adjacent to Larimer Square and across from the proposed Four Seasons Hotel.

Great Gulf Group, which also developed and built the Pinery in Parker, expects to begin construction this spring.

The condos are expected to range from 1,200 to 7,000 square feet, with prices starting in the mid-$500,000s. Suites will average 1,600 to 3,200 square feet.

The residential high rise will be designed by Peter Clewes of the architectural firm architectsAlliance. It will be modeled after 18 Yorkville, a luxury condominium project that Clewes and Great Gulf completed in Toronto.

Among the amenities will be a doorman, concierge, valet parking and an on-site recreational director.

Dee Chirafisi of Kentwood City Properties will market the property. Chirafisi expects the property, located near the new Hyatt, Four Seasons and convention center, to sell out quickly.

I wonder if this will be the tallest Clewes building? Or will Toronto's Four Seasons be higher? (Denver's Four Seasons is not a Clewes design...)
