Financial District to get BIA?

Wow, Emery Village is one of the richest BIA's how exactly did that come to be ?

Kind of sad street scape improvements aren't the priority as honestly, compared to just about every other city in the World, Toronto's downtown business district suffers from horrible street scaping by far and large.

The worst part, at least for the particular area, is other areas of the city are starting to improve in this regard (i.e. Yonge / Bloor / Queens Quay ... / hopefully John street).

I thought that was odd too. Then I looked at the map of the BIA. It's HUGE! It goes from Wilson all the way to Steeles. It even includes all of Fenmar and Steeles from Fenmar to Weston.

Created in 2003, Emery Village is home to 1,300 businesses, employing over 25,000 full and part-time employees and is the largest BIA in the City.
