When I arrived at Manulife, I realized to my great surprise that I actually have a full 240 V supply on my range, and it makes a tremendous difference when you cook a lot. Everywhere else I have lived in Toronto only had 208 V. I have tried to find out whether or not this depends on where you live in the city, of if it is generalized in newer buildings, but I have been unsuccessful. Is anyone familiar with this?
