Downtown Fairview, Cooksville and Hospital Policy Review – Draft Official Plan Amendment and Built Form Standards.

Why 25 storey height cap next to the Cooksville GO Station? Shouldn't this be the nexus of height here with the BRT, LRT and potential for two-way GO? This is backwards. It will be one of the best served transit nodes in the GTA. Should be 35-40 storey maximum with limited parking.

This has potential to be the next North York Centre if done properly, with this node being the height peak of it all. One thing that Mississauga does do well is simplified rules and I'm glad to see these documents carrying that forward. Processing the applications is another story though.

Mississauga has a fear of height and there should be no height restriction when there is no case for it. Parking should have no medium with a move to max 20% when you got transit at the front door. The city pushing 6 story max height is a joke as well putting high density in a few areas.

I have no issues with a roller coaster height line, but it needs to be taller than 25 story and get rid of the building in the park look. Need building next to building on main streets. At the same time, you can't have retail at the base of all building as it can overkill the market.
