Tonight my friend came over for dinner and since it got late out we just took a walk through my hood. So I snapped some pics. I know its suburban, but I think it is good to show the 60's suburban style. So enjoy a quick look at some of the home styles from my neighbourhood.

An overview of our walk through my hood. Our walk will take us around the whole loop of Pegasus Trail, and also down Netheravon and Portico. Enjoy the walk.

This house backs onto the ravine and has amazing old trees in the back as you can see.

This is the access point to the ravine trails from my hood. If you follow that path all the way down, you end up in the forest ravine area behind the houses and then you can walk pretty far in the ravine system to Morningside Park and further if you like. I don't use this path though. I find it creepy. The access point is all full of cedar trees, and it is creepy :)

My neighbours front yard. It is still growing in for this year. They do a great job and are always in their garden.

Thanks for coming for a walk through my hood.

Magnolia trees. We are growing them in Ottawa too.

I am going to North Carolina where they are 40 and 50 feet in diameter.

Thanks Mike.
