Looks very 1987... something you would see being built in China or the Middle East today. Toronto is capable of much better than this!

Must have been the orignal idea for the full CBC block. You can see CBC and Simcoe I which were built. This must have fallen through during the recession. And soon it should be Ritz and Simcoe II

Definitely looks like something by Carlos Ott, who also designed Simcoe Place - a vertical version of l'Opera de la Bastille.

I can see Harry Stinson building something like this... It appears to have a few similarities to the Sapphire design.
