A quiet weekend for Babel.
Supper at my neighbours' on Saturday - they're moving soon, alas. I took a lemon Dufflet cake and my best wishes.
Picked mulberries at the Hummingbird centre very early on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Made jam on Monday, though it didn't set perfectly. But I still claim it as jam, dammit, not syrup!
Sold a few books up at Yonge and Eglinton - and bought a wonderful second hand book on the innovative art deco Ballets Suedois. Great photographs, and drawings and designs for their costumes and sets.
Worked out once - walked fast on the treadmill for 45 minutes!
Phoned my mother in England. Phoned a few friends. Went to the antique thing on Sunday down at the St.Lawrence Market. Laundry. Ironed some shirts. Yawn.

Indeed. I'll drench him in mulberry juice if that thing gets built. And mulberry juice takes forever to wash off. He will be forever identified - and shamed - in his public appearances, by the woad-like stain that is the dreaded Mark Of Babel!
