Better if car washes came to us?

As I washed my car today at the do it yourself place, I thought wouldn't it be nice if someone came to my house and washed my car? It would be like a lawncare company but for car washes.

Do you guys think this is a good idea? Do you know of anyone in Toronto who does this?

I know people that are hired to detail vehicles at people's homes. But then again, we are talking about hundreds of dollars of detailing work and the clients are generally people that have expensive vehicles.

Car washes do not cost that much, so I don't know how worth it would for someone to drive around the city washing cars for who knows how much (or rather how little).

I never go to carwash joints. I enjoy washing my own car, even in sub-zero temperatures. It's cheaper and a good excuse to go outside and get some fresh air.

It could work for some people. I never thought a service like Grocery Gateway was a good idea at first and look what happened with that company.
