I was last in Ottawa in late September - my friend is on the top floor of one of those rental towers near Bronson and Slater - he has an amazing view of the War Museum, Tunney's Pasture (oh, the excitement), and the River and the Laurentien Hills (which are really something beautful).
Byward Market always blows me away - I guess that's what you get with a good-sized city and a downtown district which is packed full of stuff in a very small area.
