Anyone know about this old Victorian castle with lakeview on King St W?

If you drive along King St or Gardiner express you won't miss this old Victorian home with a huge green copper dome. I've never seen a similar large three-storey turret in any other old Toronto homes. It's kind of impressive and very unique.

It's just west of Wilson Park Rd. and east of Roncessvilles, with that stripe of many interesting old Victorian mansions facing the lake. I think all these houses have permanent unobstructed lakeview thanks to the highway.

I'm wondering of any of you know about this building, and know the background or architectural details of this building. It's just so unique and special yet I couldn't find anything about it.

It seems to be a Romanesque unique style that we dont usually see in Toronto's Victorian residential homes.

I believe it was original, and searching TObiild the building is registered heritage building built in 1893. Total interior square footage around 5000 sq ft. Also when did people stop using copper ing dome roofs for residential homes?
