I was thinking back to my childhood in the 1970s in the UK and Canada. One of my prized toys was a gollywogg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golliwogg Did anyone else have one of these?

Can you imagine the uproar if a young child in a stroller or walking along in a crowded place like the Eaton's Centre had one of these?
