That was a fantastic video of the city. I couldn't help but smile. We need as many cultural works capturing the beauty of our city as we can get, whether it's pop culture or high culture. People may see these videos in 30 or 50 years and still be impressed by the city they see: filled with people in its public spaces and metropolitan in scale and architecture--in the way you can see black and white videos of Paris from 100 years ago and still be impressed by it as a metropolis. I suspect that Toronto also looks impressive on films made 100 years ago in its busiest downtown areas, but with less of a metropolitan scale evident.
