Thread for real estate discussions about Terranata's 346 Eglinton Avenue West condominium development

Residents are absolutely opposed to this development proposal. See https://www.facebook.com/Residents.vs.346.Eglinton.Ave.W/

The tower does not fit the neighbourhood.
  • Outside of Approved City Plan
  • Sets a precedent for further high rise development
  • Access driveway off Avenue Road is a safety hazard for driving, biking and pedestrians
  • Adds significant traffic on residential streets north and south of Eglinton
  • Scale, height and density of development do not match the neighbourhood
  • Tower height will cast a wide shadow, limiting daylight for neighbours
  • Insufficient parking on-site, resulting in spillover on neighbouring streets
Join us at the OMB hearing Opening Session, Monday March 19, at 9:30 a.m., 655 Bay Street, 16th Floor

It's a mid-rise at a major intersection immediately adjacent to an Eglinton Crosstown station. You're not going to find many NIMBYs to help you oppose this on UrbanToronto.
