In April of 1976 my friend, Gary Webber and I, Alec Bancroft lived just off Rexdale Blvd for around 5 months.
I appreciate that this is a long shot but I'm just trying to find the friends we met while we spent our time in Canada; both of us are from the UK.
We lived in an block of flats just behind Rexdale Mall and the although my information is faded the friends we knew are described thus:
Betty Ciampa. Betty had a son around 2 years old at the time called Mike.
Joe. Joe had ginger hair in a perm.
Jerry. Jerry played the guitar.
Rick. Rick had a car called a GTO and his girlfriend who was called Marine which may well be spelt Maureen, committed suicide by jumping off a tower block just behind Rexdale Mall because she and Rick had split up.
Nick. Nick was around 6 feet tall.
Dave. Dave was a bit of a wrong one and was not averse to a bit of breaking and entering.
Back in 1976 all these people would be around 18/20 years old.
I know it's a long shot but if anyone from that area can shed any light on any of these people I be grateful.
