This will be really interesting as there is discussion on where arts organizations can afford space. Also a fabulous location as it is close to the 401, DVP and the STC as well as the future subway. As 2/3 of the building is vacant an expanded range of uses will include recreational activities (pickleball, indoor climbing, dance clubs). And what about use of the roof?! Finally it is bordering the midtown rail line. Hmmmmm.

TAS to transform newly acquired Toronto industrial building
TAS acquired a 290,000-square-foot industrial building at 1500 Birchmount Rd. in east Toronto in a receivership sale last month, but the site will offer more than what are generally considered industrial uses when it’s upgraded for new tenants.
