    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Oh man.. I've never used any sort of infrastructure even similar to the Queen's Quay bike path over here in Peel Region and I thought it was pretty easy to understand. Although I think I jump a few red lights by accident the first time haha. People just lack common sense, including the people...

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Well I just cycled the whole thing pretty much. Took waterfront trail from port credit all the way to Scarborough beaches... You guys werr right, too many clueless pedestrians blocking the pathway in the east end haha. Cherry street was nothing special.. I didn't get to go to Tommy Thompson...

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

From the north side of The lakeshore trail. After You get across the Gardiner/DVP ramp hellhole you were talking about, you can turn right and head northwards onto the lower don valley trail.

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Thanks, I just looked it up on street view and its quite treacherous. I'm going to try and bike to the beaches, do a loop around the lower portion then come home. I was also thinking of going North on the don valley trail beside the DVP, then loop around to Sherbourne, then Lake Shore back...

Thanks, this really helped me out. You really cleared up the east portion of the ride for me.. I'm used to cycling on mountain bike trails and country rodes, so this will be a different experience for me. Less roads the better, I want tgis to be a nice easy ride

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I was planning on taking Cherry street to and taking Lake Shore on the way back. I noticed that there's a bike path on Lake Shore that links up with the Martin Goodman trail notth of cherry street... Its hard going off of Google maps lol

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Can anybody help me? This thread is a bit long to read.. I'm from Mississauga and will be cycling from port credit to Scarborough beaches on the waterfront trail. I'll have to pass through Queen's Quay. I recall there being really bad construction. Any status updates?

    2014 Toronto New Year's Levee

I've been a big Ford supporter since 2010 and would like to see him as it may be the last chance I get to do so in case he doesn't get re-elected.. How early should I go? I know it starts at 2, but since it ends at 4 PM, will they close everyone out aftert hat? I'm coming from Brampton so I want...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I was happy with the changes/possible expansions that aleesia stated in her post, but yes: I do think 30 minute service on the Zum is absurd. It is supposed to be a BRT not a regular bus service. The ZUM main street to square one is already slow as hell whenever I wait for it. 15 minute wait...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I have to agree with many of the posters. Living in Brampton for 8 years, the transit system has improved significantly. Newer buses, increased frequency, ZUM, more shelters, minor improvements (such as the 4A, 15A, 1A etc) have all contributed. I remember when I first moved here in 2004, taking...

    miWay Transit

If you don't mind, I would just like to as a question regarding transfer between MiWay and the TTC. I was coming home today from centennial Park, on the border of Toronto and Mississauga. I walked to Burnhamthorpe to catch the 26 bus at a TTC stop, however the bus zoomed straight past me? Does...

TTC mourns death of ‘napping’ employee

I hope the people who have ridiculed this man and turned him into a laughing stock feel guilty now. No one can defend the sleeping (I don't), however was it necesarry to turn this guy into an internet meme? It's amazing how people make judgements based on small samples. As one user mentioned...

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

What do you think of these candidates, and how they can help the GTA function together? I personally voted against Susan, she's great but too anti-green space

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

Cmon lol. That system of subway lines will never be built under any mayor anytime soon. It would be nice though, as cities such as Chicago and Atlanta have a population close to ours but have a subway similar to the one above.

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

Some people are still uncomfortable with the idea of two men kissing, or just homosexuality in general. Why don't you just deal with it? Stop trying to force/expect others to accept the whole idea of homosexuality. Not everyone is going to believe what you believe. I come from a West Indian...

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Toronto, you made the right choice. Very happy for my hometown. I will be happy to live in a city run by Rob Ford in the next couple of years.

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

How much do you guys think Rob Ford can bench/ kilometres run?

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

75% overweight? I don't believe that for a second, thats more of an American statistic lol. Canadians don't look like those rednecks from southern USA. Maybe in Alberta or Manitoba hehe.

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

I bet many are not voting for Ford due to his "overweight redneck appearance"
