The General Manager of DRT mentioned there were talks into having an open-door policy along Ellesmere Road. The new agreement probably kills any chance of that for the short-term.

That's good to hear. I heard permanent replacement buses are coming in 2025/2026, do you know if there's any truth to it?

Any word on the other leased buses? I know two of them are in service but not sure about the rest.

Very fair points. I'm assuming once the fourth track on the LSE gets completed we'll see a ramp-up of service to weekday 15M + express trains coming back.

From what I'm reading, 15-min service along the Lakeshore lines is only happening during weekend afternoon & evening times? If so it would be odd that they're not doing weekday 15-min service as well.

Saw one yesterday doing the 302/905 run. The destination signs haven't been programmed in yet as it just said MiWay on them.

I had no idea the TTC buses were suppose to get destination signs. Hopefully with the new leased ones, they will.

Do we know if destination signs, announcements & PRESTO devices are going to be fitted onto them?

Is it just me, or have the next-stop announcements disappeared/changed again? They're not playing when I was on DRT yesterday.

Is the route a one-way loop? They should provide counter-clockwise service, especially during rush hour.

This is a bit of a niche question, but will the Finch LRT use the TTC 3-tone chime and announcements voice? Because from what I believe, the LRVs are programmed with the same announcement sounds and software used in Ottawa.

I'm assuming if they're going to be long term leases they'll do the next stop announcements, PRESTO readers and slap on some DRT logos

I'm surprised at how far the express service will travel within the region without stopping. I'm assuming a lot of the demand is coming from students from Ontario Tech/DC and Amazon workers travelling to Scarborough and vice versa to Whitby/Oshawa.
