    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

I love the park but unfortunately it isn’t perfect. The fact the city is freezing cold for half of the year and there’s nothing to do in the park during those months is a huge flaw. This desperately had to be an ice skating rink that can be a year-round attraction even in the winter. This is...

    Toronto 346 Davenport | 36.27m | 9s | Freed | RAW Design

I think it looks decent compared to a many other condos out there. It may not be a masterpiece but it isn’t the worst offender either

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Unfortunate to see they aren’t using the same glass in this part of the podium. I hope that’s not the final look.

    Toronto 88 Bathurst | 68.3m | 17s | Hines | 3XN

So far nothing is really looking like the render. I guess we shall wait and hope for the best. The final result will sure be very different from the render.

    Toronto Queen-Spadina Transit Oriented Community: South Site | 52.67m | 15s | Infrastructure ON | SvN

A new subway line and a streetcar line, and only 15-17 stories? This is a joke. Wasted opportunity, these people don’t think ahead into the future. This should be at the very least 30 floors. Where else would high density make sense in this city? Smh

Toronto George Brown College: Limberlost Place | 52.5m | 10s | George Brown | Moriyama Teshima Architects

The vertical fins make a huge positive impact. I Love the texture they add. This is looking great. I wish it was facing the lake so it’d have more impact on the skyline.

    Toronto Social at Church + Dundas | 164.89m | 52s | Pemberton | RAW Design

The tower’s geometry had so much potential to have the kind of One Bloor West balcony impact with its sharp lines. But they used the worst possible cladding for both the building envelop and the balcony cladding. Not to mention the terrible podium/ground floor. Maybe a recladding in 40 years...

Toronto Cherry House at Canary Landing | 50.32m | 13s | Dream | COBE Architects

Love the streetscape forming here. The scale, the style, it all has a consistent character that’s refreshing to see in a new neighbourhood in Toronto

This mechanical box or whatever that is on top of the heritage building, is the only part of this project I don’t like. Wish they would’ve used the same glass instead.

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

This is what First Capital REIT is proud to bring to Canada’s most prominent corner and prestigious retail street. A soul-killing Scotiabank branch. I don’t even buy the argument that only a bank could afford to pay for the high rent for this corner. I’m sure there are plenty of brands dying...

    Toronto Aqualuna at Bayside | 61.87m | 18s | Tridel | 3XN

I wish this level of architecture and detail was the standard for most condo projects in the city. Beautiful

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Scotiabank right at corner of Yonge and Bloor will be a corner killer. Nike and Mango should’ve been there instead. Scotia was more suitable east of Bloor near the Cafe Landwer

    Toronto 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

If they would’ve used more stone and less spandrel/mullions, this building would’ve given a NYC Art deco vibe.

    Toronto 225 Queen East | 121.4m | 37s | Dash Developments | Arcadis

I suspect this whole part of queen street/moss park subway station will be the new ground zero for densification and development. I can already see every small building being redeveloped into this type of project, restored heritage base and condo tower on top.

Toronto One Crosstown Towers I, II, III, and The Crest | 129.86m | 39s | Aspen Ridge | Core Architects

Wow the amount of change and growth this area is experiencing is insane. can’t imagine what it’ll be like in 10-20 years

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Love the street wall here. It’s giving London or NYC vibes.

    Toronto Artists' Alley | 121.91m | 39s | Lanterra | Hariri Pontarini

I just Wish the tower was taller or less hidden so it was more prominent in the skyline.

    Toronto 83 Bloor West | 269.05m | 82s | Parallax | Arcadis

Considering the location and height you'd expect higher quality architecture. this looks like a church st condo.

does anyone know what’s the cladding plan for the mechanical levels? Some renderings show it as champagne colour and in others it looks black. I would assume it’ll be like the fluted metal cladding seen by the lobby and that mechanical level facing yonge street.
