No but so many buildings do and there is no need for them. I generally speaking don't like them so glad no spire on this one.

God no, I'm so sick of spires and they seem so pointless. Super happy there is no spire here.

So far I think it's hideous looking. If I was a tourist I might stop and look due to how ugly I thought it was. Maybe when the plants grow on it I might think different but right now that's my opinion.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like this because Toronto already has so many glass type shiny buildings and really lacking in the dark colours, but now that I'm starting to get an idea of how this is going to look, I must say it looks quite good so far.

So far this doesn't look bad at all.

IDK man...I mean I can understand it might be a bit of an inconvenience to residents, but since it's part hotel, extra traffic in this building should be expected. The top of this thing is going to be as high as the main observation deck of the CN tower, I think an extra observation deck in the...

I've said this in a few threads, but "One Bloor West" will be the nicest building in the city. Or at least the nicest one to go up in the last 40 years. Some of the older buildings like the Scotia Bank building is hard to beat, but due to One Bloor West's height, it's a tough call.

    Toronto One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners

I know the expected completion date is like early 2028, but once they finish the crown on this thing, it's done as far as I'm concerned, and feel like that should happen in the 2 or 3 months given these latest photos.

The changes to the building are not going to effect the neighborhood at all so not sure what you're going on about.

A few posts ago, I mentioned how I didn't like it so far but was holding off on a final judgment for the reason you just mentioned. Having said that, if ends up looking more like this then what's planned, going to be pretty ugly IMO.

Trying to wait for a bit on my final judgement on this, but so far it just looks weird and ugly.

I'm not sure that people have given it that much criticism. The vibe I've gotten from the thread is many people have a wait and see attitude.

And Concord Sky should be close by late spring?

"almost" is probably the right word. They kind of look like flames to me.

You'll be able to see it from almost anywhere in the GTA at this point as it's getting close to the top. You can see the CN tower from anywhere in the GTA, and when this tops out it will be as high as the first observation deck of the CN tower so you should be able to see it as well.

A few things: 25% is a big difference, but that's not what really makes the difference. It's the non peak areas. Look how low the stands are in left Field at T-Mobile Field and Daikin Park are. That's what gives in the real open air and true baseball park feel. Also, the fact Skydome is older...

Even when the roof is open, it's nice that sun comes in and you can see the sky, but it doesn't feel like an outdoor ball park because is so big and the walls are so high around the whole stadium. Look at what T-Mobile Field or Minute Maid Park when the roof is open compared to Skydome when the...

When I went to Fenway Park 3 years ago, the atmosphere outside the ball park was incredible, so you have a great point here.
