    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

Thursday. Going to be honest with you: I was very sleepy and in-and-out of sleep most of the trip, so I can't provide any sort of good estimate. I don't even recall if we stopped in Smiths Falls. I know there were far fewer stops than a normal train on that route. If the train did stop at...

    Quebec-Windsor Corridor

Not sure if anyone has touched on this but I took 641 recently and it was the most full VIA train i've been on in a while. Pretty sleepy leaving Ottawa; Kingston accounted for a large portion of commuters.

    St Lawrence Market

I think the intent would be to let pedestrians cross the middle of the intersection itself. As it stands, if you're in the middle on the flatiron side you have to cross north or south - it's cumbersome if you're looking at going eastwards from there. I'd appreciate a road diet but a scramble...

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Agreed. Not sure where the best place for it to go would be but the option would be nice. Something open later than 8/9pm, especially considering VIA trains if they run on time arrive after 10PM. Good shout. Berlin Hbf is incredible and I recommend anyone who likes transport even remotely to...

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Why would they? Stores at stations are for serving passengers, especially those looking for snacks on their travels. I wouldn't expect any store at a station to sell anything over 750ml. I can't remember every single store when I was at Berlin Hbf but I don't think anything there sold anything...

    VIA Rail

I assume the new development comes with no pedestrian connection b/w it and Ottawa Station, as things currently stand with Trainyards.

This is now about a floor above-grade. Seems to be moving pretty quick.

    55 Thursday is new! :)

    VIA Rail

Sure, but if VIA is going to provide a schedule it should at least be up to date, even if the medium itself is outdated.

This schedule at Trenton is from pre-covid. I'm guessing it's out of date?

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I have not felt the effects of the Gardiner because I live downtown and take transit to work. Weird how that works. CP24 doing a good TorontoLife impression here.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Wardens were not at King/Jarvis when I went by again at 530. Strange that they would be there at 130 and not during a busier time, especially considering this is a bad intersection for drivers blocking intersections and streetcars (not nearly as bad as Jarvis & Richmond, though). There was a...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Traffic wardens out on King today. I noticed them at Jarvis, Yonge, and Bay, but there may have been others elsewhere. Also saw a police pull over a driver for driving through an intersection on Saturday. Didn't ticket them but gave them a talking-to...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

Eh, it feels like a dubious map. Germany might technically have no limit but that's only on de-regulated zones of the Autobahn. Everywhere else has a posted limit.
