Quick update on this. Approaches are almost complete and still some final prepping and pouring to do, but hopefully should compete this year. Pedestrian approaches were widened, but still need railings installed.

Not too interesting, but they have been surveying all the utilities at Appleby GO. Not sure if this is related to eventually station improvements, electrification, or for investigation work related to eventual level boarding.
