Respectfully, I hold the opinion that these areas will be animated by the increase in density. Attracting business, art and culture and animating the neighborhoods. Intermingled with all the transit (e.g., GO RER via lakeshore, Line 5 and closely linked Line 2) -- it all stands to add a new node...

Seems city council believes charges have been applied properly. https://secure.toronto.ca/council/agenda-item.do?item=2024.EX11.3 Complaint has been dismissed and authorized city staff to defend any appeals to the city or OLT.

Thanks Northern Light! So there is a sticking point that the city and the proponent are unable to settle. This development seems to be a positive development plan (to a novice such as myself) so I am curious to see what the dispute is. Cheers.

What are the implications of this heading to the Ontario Land Tribunal? (I'm a novice so would love to know)

Was driving by the other day and it's starting to give some height/depth to this stretch of Kingston Road. Exciting.

Maybe I’m seeing things. I saw two signs, one in front of the beer store lot and one on the adjacent strip on the Birchmount and st Claire corner. I presume a sign perhaps got knocked due to damage?

Had driven by this weekend - the signage still seems to be up. Have no heard any changes otherwise. Cheers!

Thanks @Midrise and @Northern Light for the insights. The Cliffside guidelines is really useful, didn't know it existed. Look forward to the Kingston Road renders. Cheers!

Unsure if this is the correct thread to comment, but with the block context plan and seemingly increasing density in the stretch between danforth/midland on Kingston. Do folks have an example of what that type of front looks like where 3 lanes exist on both sides of the median? The density is...

Thanks for sharing Northern Light. Question, revision (h) - what qualifies as a transit infrastructure corridor? As far as I'm aware, it's mainly bus routes in this area - are there other plans for high order transit? Cheers!

That would be my guess, probably far too early still for any of this to materialize in that sort of plan. But given how others materialize, I think you're right - thanks!

Coverage in a local newspaper of the Scarborough Junction Master Plan: (Page 4/5) https://www.bluffsmonitor.com/wp-content/uploads/flipbook/92/book.html Notable highlights - breaking ground in 3-4 years, and completion in 16-20 years. I'm quite the novice following these types of...

Thanks PMT for consolidating all the development renderings and docs. Useful for future reference. Hopefully there is design & traffic flow considerations for entry/exit to the GO parking. As it is currently, folks who used the parking would congest the exit local streets at peak rush hours...

These developments are exciting. It's sometimes hard to find updates around Golden Mile Secondary. This area and Scarborough Junction are prime for redevelopment / re-imagining. Has the O'Connor (Scarborough v North York) element been settled?

Thanks! Definitely will. I believe they spoke that they're very early in the consultation phase. 2 years planning/approvals and perhaps another 2 until shovels in the ground. But overall excited for the potential, My wife and I both work downtown and the train ride to union is a game-changer...
