How about widening Hwy 85 in Kitchener between Lancaster and Regional Rd. 15 and Hwy 7/8 between Fischer-Hallman and Trussler. As well as the 410 between Queen and Mayfield?

Another option is twinning Hwy 7 between Hwy 115 and Carleton Place. Maybe the 115 section between the 407 and 7 can be renamed the 407 but a non-tolled section of the highway from Clarington to Ottawa

I definitely agree. It will reduce the pressure between the two busy freeways. If the 427 gets further extended into Barrie, that would be really beneficial and would relieve the pressure on the 400 and Hwy 27. Also a future 410 extension into Orangeville and beyond could work too. Could help...

All of them are using travel times during rush hour. Except for the 404 & DVP before York Mills, 401 east between Avenue Road and Brock and the 412 to Courtice. 401 west at Holt Road and between the 412 and 404. Hwy 407 at Hwy 12. QEW between the 406 and 420 in Niagara Region.
