As as someone who knows someone who lived at 325 Gerrard Street East, the interior of that building is absolutely terrible. There is cockroach and mice infestations in many units, not to mention the amount of security issues due to the design of the building. People who live in that building...

the big reason why it is designed like this is because of lack of budget and it seems like they wanted to bring back tchc residents quickly into the community after having to move from the old buildings and not having to wait too long to return back, therefore the creation of the high rise...

but the inside won't be as nice..

The new TCHC buildings are very cheaply built and have a lot of security related problems, just always see TCHC special constables always visiting the building

I recently visited this building 110 River Street and it is not designed well in some parts. There are 3 elevators but they get full very fast with only five people in the elevator as they are quite small and it is quite claustrophobic riding it for a long time as there are more than 30 floors...

Actually only a small percentage of the units in this building are affordable housing and you can apply for them on the tchc website later this year and the rest of the units are rent geared to income units for previous regent park residents who had to be relocated as their buildings were...

There are actual plans as there is a community meeting on June 19th to discuss it

This new school won’t start construction within the next 5 years as currently there are plans to make the 3.5 acre into a garden for Regent Park residents.

It won't happen until 2021-2022 at the earliest

365 Parliament Street and 295 Gerrard are the last TCHC buildings to be demolished as apart of Phase 3 and they will be demolished this fall, and Phase 4 can be expected to start sometime between 2019-2020. Phase 5 is tbd at this time.

Phase 3b-2 will be demolished sometime in late fall 2018.

There are 87 families currently living in 365 Parliament Street and 295 Gerrard Street and they want to relocate the eligible families directly into a new unit in either 50 Regent Park Blvd which is already open, 21 Tubman Avenue opening in July 2018 and 110 River Street in February 2019. The...

21 Tubman Avenue (midrise) will open in July 2018 and 110 River Street(high rise) will open in February 2019. There are 4 retail stores coming to the base of the podium however it is unknown which retailers will occupy the 4 spaces.

Block 24 South- 50 Regent Park Blvd is now open and families have begun moving into the building.

The last part of Phase 3b-2 which includes 365 Parliament Street and 295 Gerrard Street East will be demolished in Summer 2019.
