Yes, that is definitely the site. The JLL has it listed as sold (https://powersearch.jll.com/ca-en/property/37831/1030-danforth-avenue) and the Theo building website is up so I'm guessing they haven't gotten around to removing the sign or still waiting for traction (sales, demand, etc).

Unfortuantely I don't have access to the full article so I can't tell if this property part of the movement to seize. However, according to the Fortress site there are 20 active projects and the news article mentions 13 were siezed so odds are not good...

According to the builder's site it is 2 levels (65 parking spots): https://fortressrealdevelopments.com/projects/platform-condos/ However it does look too shallow for 2 levels. I'm assuming they are going deeper unless the equipment has already been removed?

According to https://condonow.com/Platform-Condos they decreased the suite size from 958 - 1228 sq ft to 645 - 1228 sq ft which, I'm assuming, lowered the average square foot cost from $855 to $806 (pretty big drop if you ask me for a building that is "sold out").

Odd that they would be concerned with metering an old vacant building. Any guesses to what is up?

Given the signs of the environmental cleanup company and the lack of demolition that was my thought.

There might be a bit of reprieve. I walked by this place the other day and it appears as though an A&W has taken the space over and will be opening in the future (there is some renovation going on and signs for hiring). Not my first choice but better than a cheque cashing place.

There is a sign on the beer store that mentions they are closing March 18th. Looks like everything is on track for demolition in the summer.
