Hi, my unit faces east.

So I purchased my unit at NXT in October 2009 (they were on the 3rd floor) - 11 months later I occupied... Youre telling me that it will take an additional 12 months for 7 extra floors.....those are some crazy calculations!

Nxt 2 Crane is up and construction seems to be underway. Based on timing from NXT - I would assume that NXT 2 would be completed and occupancy will begin in September 2012

They will definitely approve you to lease your unit... you will have to pay 13% HST on the original purchase price of your unit (i.e if your unit was 350K you will have to pay out 45K in taxes).....something to keep in mind.

I will likely put this down as a defect on my 30 day inspection...(not the missing lock...but the gap)...im suggest everyone does the same.

I was thinking about it over the weekend - I would think the building completion is spot on (November/December 2011 for NXT2 to be fully occupied) - although you would assume that it would take way less than a year to complete the rest of the amenities. I would think by spring 2012 all...

yupp...i havent heard any confirmed on that yet...but id assume it would have been completed by now. still looks pretty damn great in person if anyone's been down there.

Thanks for the words of support lol I could tell by the reaction I got from the rep that was with me during the PDI yesterday that she could give two massive loads of bull crap about my issues, complaints and has likely been through this so many times that she was numb to the whole situation...

No they didn't assign me anything as of yet... The fixes are also not guaranteed to be completed by my occupancy (September 27th) - which is BS, but now that a day has passed I am less furious and just dealing with reality.

So i completed my PDI today and after a year of excitement I never thought I would be so disappointed by the quality control that Cresford has for its contractors - a list of 36 issues including scratched/scuffed flooring (30% of my floors were covered in scratches, scuffs, glue, paint drips)...

Pdi I have already booked my PDI date - September 7th 2010.... So i assume my scheduled occupancy date of September 28th is still a possibility (10th floor).

The only drawback is the width of the balconies. On the east side of NXT - the closer you are to the south end of the building, the wider your balcony will be (roughly 4-5 feet...on the north end that shrinks to about 3 feet). Not certain about the west side of the building...
